I know you haven’t heard from me in a while, and I apologize. December is always an absolutely crazy month around here.
Whether you celebrated Hannukah, Christmas, Festivus, or another wintertime holiday, I hope you had a wonderful time and ate some seriously delicious food.
Over vacation, I took a little day trip into the city with my friend Rayna, where we took a baking class and a decorating class at the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC. We learned a lot about the technical side of baking cakes and how to use and decorate with fondant.

I have midterms coming up next week, so I’ve been spending most of my free time studying like a maniac. Cookies have been crucial, so if I can make it through to February, get excited for lots more like these.
