Honey Cinnamon Peanut Butter

I just made peanut butter.

I can’t believe this was even possible.

Life-changing moment.

Was anyone else aware of just how AMAZING homemade peanut butter is? Ohmygosh.

It’s creamy and salty and thick and it has that classic stick-to-your-tongue quality that everyone loves about peanut butter. Only, it’s homemade, and you can control exactly how it tastes.

And, you can make thousands of different flavors. Honey Cinnamon is a pretty simple combination, which is good for peanut butter that you plan to use for everyday purposes. If you want something a little more funky. try adding chocolate chips, spices, pretzels, almonds, curry, and basically anything else you can think of. Trust me – the peanut butter doesn’t mind.

Use this heavenly goodness anywhere you would use normal peanut butter. It’ll be a trillion billion times better 🙂

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich anyone?

This is almost as exciting as Friday’s gymnastics meet. It was the first meet of the year where I didn’t fall on beam (yay!) , and it was overall just really relaxed and fun. Good times 🙂

Peanuts. Honey. Salt. Cinnamon. Canola oil.

Do it for me, kiddos. You’ll be glad you did.

Honey Cinnamon Peanut Butter

16 ounces of roasted, unsalted peanuts

2 tablespoons of honey

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of salt

3 tablespoons of canola or peanut oil

In a food processor, blend together the peanuts, honey, cinnamon, and salt until the peanuts are crushed very fine. Add the canola oil in a steady stream while the processor is blending. Continue blending until the mixture is thick and smooth.

Voila! See how easy that is?
